Good morning BA, have a great Sunday. Not much going on, another normal Sunday with bottle returns, laundry, and a grocery run later on. Got plenty of new beer hauls they last couple weekends, so I have a lot of reviewing to do.

Amazing IPA as always. Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, apricot, mango, citrus peel/rind, pepper, and pine hops; with moderate honey, toasted bread malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; balanced creamy/bready malt and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing resin dryness, no hop astringency. Very drinkable and not overly aggressive. Even with the new hops they added for the 1.1 version, it still tastes like the original Chinook/Centennial hop profile the most. Perfectly balanced juicy and dank hop complexity; with a nice solid malt backbone. A true classic IPA. Pretty much just as impressive as the first time I reviewed it over 6 years ago. Got another fresh 6 pack a couple weeks ago. Will keep buying them. Price is hard to beat for 16 oz cans, same with the Arrogant Bastard.

This is still tasting fantastic! Flavors of lightly tart blueberries, milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, toffee, fudge, vanilla, toasted coconut, bourbon, oak, and dark bread; with lighter notes of molasses, licorice, and raisins. Light roasted bitterness and fruit tartness on the finish. Full bodied creamy, silky, velvety, and rich mouthfeel. Some light roast malt chalkiness and fruit acidity; touch of dryness from both. Never cloyingly sweet, but definitely a dessert beer. Amazingly smooth, minimally warming 10.5%. A near perfect balance of berries, cocoa/vanilla, malt, and barrel character. Tons of flavor complexity, and it all comes together extremely well. I've always been a big fan of fruit stouts, so I'm not surprised how much I loved this one. Seems pretty polarizing to most people, but this is one of my favorites from the barrel series. This is the 11th bomber I've had, and I have a few more in the cellar. I keep grabbing these randomly if I see them. Well worth the price.

Fantastic IPA. Aromas and flavors of huge tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, passionfruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, lime, lemon/orange zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, biscuity malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Mild pine, zesty, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; nice bready/grainy wheat creaminess and some hop stickiness in the mouthfeel. Slight resins, lightly increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Super drinkable, minimal warming 7%. Another easy winner NEIPA from Evil twin. Galaxy and Simcoe. Super juicy and fairly dank hops, balanced bready malts. Grabbed a full pack of the fresh batch a couple weeks ago. Will probably get another.

Always world class. Huge flavors of caramel, toffee, brown sugar, brown bread, molasses, raisin, plum, fig, bourbon, toasted oak, vanilla, coconut, and light chocolate/cocoa. Mild balancing bourbon/oak spiciness against sweetness; lightly drying from tannins. Full bodied creamy/silky and slightly slick/chalky/tannic balanced mouthfeel. Low alcohol warming on the finish for 12%, never boozy. Dangerously smooth sipping. The malt/yeast complexity and barrel integration is amazing! This is basically a year round available offering for me on the shelf(along with BBA Siberian). Prefer this over Backwoods, but still love both and always keep them around. This seems to have more barrel influence over the malt, which is really the key difference.

#1 (& only?) - Odd13 Intergalactic bla-bla-bla IPA juice thing. Very tasty. Going down pretty easily after an 8 mile run this morning. Had a good mini-celebration last night, too, where the taproom had some Comrade Superpower IPA (and their grapefruit one) on tap, along with other goodies. Much rejoicing was had. Cheers! Now I gotta pack, in-law family vacation visit. -_-

Clear light golden color with great white cap and lacing.

Aroma of rich, sweet malt with spicy, floral hops.

Taste is malt forward in a yeasty bread roll fashion with hops more floral at first but gradually building to a firm but pleasant bitterness by the finish.
