Post away and yes, Joe and Lauren (the Grimm's) monitor this thread and are great about responding to your questions and comments. Especially, if you tag them @Grimm_Artisanal_Ales. Great people, great couple, great brewers, and now great brewery owners.

    Can advice

Keep cold! Drink Now! Roll can to suspend hop particles.

Upcoming Grimm releases (at brewery and/or in distribution) for August (subject to change)

Waiting for the official list. I'll add it after I received it or @Grimm_Artisanal_Ales will.

Finally, the new brewery is beautiful and awesome. Please give them time to work the kinks out of their operation.

It is (or was?) fabulous. Light with a sorta berry note on the hops, like the Today’s special pale ale, way more flavorful than you would expect.

Probably safe to assume that's short for "Specific Gravity of Smile." I'm excited to see the artwork.

I'm going to Grimm tonight for the first time and sadly will miss tomorrow's release. In their short time open, have they have tapped a keg on Friday of beers they are releasing on Saturday (like OH does sometimes)?

:anguished:hopefully Present Perfect is coming next week

Their new ipas have been really good. I had another Energy Field the other night and it's pretty perfect. Excited to try this.

Finally made it out to the brewery yesterday, its such a nice space, easily the most aesthetically pleasing taproom in the city. Only complaint was that it was warm but I think that horse has been beaten to death already. Lilt was excellent, looking forward to more mixed ferm beers as those have been my favorites from Grimm so far.

yes, there are still Sunroof cans!

    Nailed it! So good

We are trying not to tap anything until the day of the release. We'll see how that develops.

It is really intense, insane fruity-tropical aromas, and with a huge resinous/earthy finish. It's just two days old though so the earthy resin will be subsiding as the fruitiness increases over the next two weeks. Brewed with oats. We probably should have advertised it as a triple IPA -- it is a really high density of flavor and ABV.

Picked up a 4-pack this afternoon and couldn’t agree more! It’s drinking real nice for the ABV.

Having not been to the new tap room yet, and having a young child, I feel compelled to ask: how kid friendly are we talking here (understanding that crowd size can drive the answer)?

I've only been once, but as someone who also has a young child (2) who lives near OH (for context), I'd put them both at a ~3 on a 1-10 scale (with 1 being least kid friendly). Maybe at opening on a Sunday or something would be ok

I was there on Sunday for my second visit. Saw a handful of young children in the 2-4 PM time frame. Didn't seem to be an issue. Gravity of Smile and Solar Return tasting mighty fine. Bar staff was on their game.

Both times I’ve been there on a Saturday at 12pm it was relativelt empty and a few people had kids with them. Seemed perfectly fine.
