    Hot, humid weather is back, need some refreshment . . .

    Attractive color of lighter hazy gold with white cap.

    Scent of primarily citrus (grapefruit) hops with supporting notes of tropical (mango) fruits. The hops are strong enough to override any malt presence.

    Taste is a hop circus with several acts going on at the same time. That's to say I'm getting distinct rather than integrated hop flavors. The tastes are actually pretty decent but it's like three horses trying to pull the wagon in different directions.

    Productive day so far. Got our cars registered and got our New Mexico drivers' licenses. Home waiting for the new refrigerator to arrive. Looks like a good day of beer drinking and pool swimming.

    Hallo Ich bin Berliner Weisse raspberry.
    I ordered some of these Mikkeller sours online when we still had a heatwave. Heat is gone now, but the beer is nice all the same.

    Received some cans from (much praised) Alefarm today. First (in the middle) is chilling nicly.
    The second bottle from the right is a Sport Zot, the alcohol free version of Brugse Zot (no, realy). I'ts in the fridge for over a month now. Have to try it soon :slight_smile:

    [​IMG] Not normal style, but what the heck I need to branch out once in awhile. Berliner Weiss Charlie Don’t Surf 5% ABV. Pours a very attractive hazy purple pink with a nice finger sticky head that leaves webs of lace behind. 4.25

    Smell is pomegranate, must, fresh berries, some tangerine, and cider. 4

    Taste follows must starts out with pomegranate, boysenberry, citrus lemon maybe, and some cider. 4

    Mouthfeel about medium, plenty of prickly life, not dry, and goes easy, but has more flavor than a normal beer with only 5% ABV.4

    Overall this is way out of my comfort zone, but this is a really well made beer and I actually would get it again. 4
