Oh I see it's here, nice!

I guess we should be getting it next week.

Speaking of what’s available. Citra cashmere not on their (website) tap list. Been and gone or wasn’t tapped yet

Could just be that they kicked the keg that was up and rather than put a new one on they swapped to one of the new releases.

If they are reading this, I'd love to continue beating the dead horse. They should dedicate one of their weekend releases where "$1 of all proceeds will go into the purchase of a better hand dryer." If they're afraid of shrinking margins, raise the price of one of their 4-packs by $1 and I'll still be onboard. They only need to sell 400 cans to get a new one: https://www.prodryers.com/Excel-Dryer-XL-BW-ECO-XLERATOR-Eco-Hand-Dryer-p/xl-bw-eco.htm

The right dryer is now broken so only the left one whispers some air onto your hands

I feel like if we donated like $5 or so every time someone complained in this thread about the hand driers, we would be pretty close to funding one right now.

Nope. You lost me at “raise the price of one of their 4-packs.”

We're looking to fly out to NYC on Tuesday JUST to go to Other Half for my 40th birthday.

I know the place is fairly small, but can you hang out and drink there for an extended period of time (in the afternoon)? Any draft limits like TH has?

Normally, we are forced to use a mule to get our Other Half fix. We'd just really like to go drink some on tap for once. Cans would be an added bonus.

The place is more spacious than what you may be basing this post on and plus it is a Tuesday, so you will have plenty of space.

No limits on drafts other than that some pours are only 4 or 8 ounces. You can drink yourself silly at OH as in just about any place in NYC.

You wanna try every beer on the menu, you can. It’ll cost you the price of your flight to the city though.

Which, by the way, resist the small pours; they are a rip-off.

Thank you so much for the info!!!!! Probably everything I've read about it being small was from old posts.

Flights are free (airline employee) so that definitely helps. Lots more money to spend on beer. :grimacing:

The old tap room was tiny but I honestly kinda miss it some days. Tuesday should be pretty chill as far as crowds go though. Depending on midweek release timings you should be able to get cans, although honestly they almost always have cans of something these days. If not just hit up the G train and go to Grimm.

Yep avoid the small pours if you can, too expensive. Get blasted there all day and any other establishment in NY basically for that matter, as we don't really have any silly laws, and everything is open pretty late!

The Phish festival in Watkins Glen was cancelled due to health concerns, mostly severe flooding tainted the water supply. The biggest concern.. ‘turbidity’.

Who says that term didn’t stick?

I mean the pour limit at Treehouse is cause they don't keg as much of their beer and they have way higher volumes of people. Some of these crazy releases they'll probably get like 4k+ people in one day.

Drinking Snowbirds 2 as every time I pick up an OH stout I have to drink one so I'm not hording them. Have to agree with @RobNewton, OH stouts are kind of a thing now. This is just pure liquid Mounds bar.

Think along the lines of a slightly smaller Sisyphus or barrel theory sized space. It’s certainly not large but you will be fine on a Tuesday. Grimm is closed Tuesday and Wednesday so don’t know that you can go there as mentioned previously.

Not going to lie, the only time I’ve ever been to other half, I got these two beers and Forever Ever. Should I go back? Just moved to New Haven
