Double Citra is done, I got one of the last 4pks. @rozzom let me know if you are going to Sixpoint next weekend, I can get my dad who is a trues Scotsman.

 

DDH Mylar bags once again proving itself one of OHs top 5 beers. And probably my personal favorite.

 

The new beers and collabs are fun and exiting; but the hits are the hits for a reason.

 

Arrived at 3:30 today and got everything except Double Citra. People were cheering me on as I carried my case down Centre. Not sure what that was about. For me, 570 is the standout of the bunch. So dank. So heavy. Party Booster is a party booster. All Nelson good but wine dry on the finish. Overall, nice to stroll in mid-afternoon and get just about everything. Thank you to all of you who update this thread so I could perfectly time my pickup.

 

Possibly because the flimsy cardboard was failing all day and people were dropping cans.

They may have been cheering in hopes you got them home safely!

 

What’s a Party Booster? I didn’t love that one. And All Nelson tates like Riesling juice which probably indicates I don’t love Nelson. Those were the only two I grabbed today. I chose poorly.

 

Everyone go buy Double Drupe so they can release Rice Proxy Treats stout sooner.

Ah - i knew it was a joke but thought you were going in a slightly different direction- I saw layers that weren’t there. Fitting haha

 

I couldn't come up with a good "true Scotsman" logical fallacy joke, so I went with a dumb jingoistic Yank routine.

 

Hop Showers w/ El Dorado: 7.2% Hopped with el dorado, amarillo + flaked oats and 2-row malt.

DDH Oh…: 6.2% Double dry hopped IPA w / citra, galaxy + motueka.

Nelson + Mosaic: 8.5% Dual hop double IPA with Mosaic and nelson hops.

Green Flowers: 8.6% Imperial IPA with vermont yeast, wheat and oats. It was crushed with mandarina, wai-iti, galaxy and nelson sauvin hops.

DDH All Citra Everything: 8.5% double dry hopped double IPA with all Citra hops.

DDH Double Mosaic Dream: 8.5% Double dry hopped imperial IPA w / mosaic.

DDH Go w/ the Flow: 6% Double Dry hopped IPA w / citra, motueka + simcoe.

 

Had my triple broccoli Saturday night, was disappointed. It was like a muddle of too many things going on, and the booze really stuck out.
