just one person’s opinion but, i’d say your about 2 FO short of one bottle of this year’s MD (keep in mind that 2 MD is someone’s entire allotment). your original offer might land you a bottle of last year’s MD (12oz). just trying to be helpful. cheers & happy hunting!
2 bombers (22oz). last year it was a 4pk of 12oz bottles, hence making tracking down a bottle (albeit a smaller bottle) an easier task.
So by the logic used here, I should be able to land 2 MDs with a BA M3 because the limit on M3 was 1pp and the bottle count was lower?.
well that i couldn’t say for sure. mainly because MD does not techinically release until next weekend. i’m sure we will all be sitting around, watching & waiting to see where it lands like stock market analysts on wall street.
You've got 47 trades under your belt. I would think you would understand at this point how CA traders will always have an uphill battle.
No I do understand. But with MD b3 being terrible and MD b4 being decent, Figured it was worth a shot.
Pre-trading basically always has the assumption that the bottle is going to be amazing, which makes pre-trading so difficult. You have to wait for the (likely) subpar reviews before your offer becomes viable. But from what i've seen thus far, people are asking for VR type shit for 1 bottle of MDb5
Could be worse - you could be a Kansas trader. I think MD changing from bombers, to 12's, to bombers again makes things a bit confusing. If you're a Mornin' Delight fan, VR:MD 22 oz doesn't seem all too terrible a stretch. Pre-trades are tough because the trader is "paying"/trading a premium to ensure they can (a) land a bottle and (b) said bottle doesn't explode as the latest and greatest. 99% of the time, pre-trade will "cost" more. We're all raising the "prices" on ourselves because we have the FOMO. It's fun, though! Good luck, OP.
FWIW This years batch is drastically better than recent years. I’ve had the opportunity to drink it several times on tap over the last couple weeks, and I think people will be pleasantly surprised on this one.
All the reviews I've seen from GTMW said that MDb5 is by far the best since b2. I guess we'll know soon if it's as good out of the bottle as the reviews of it on tap have been.
