Back to basics . . .






Clear amber gold color with white cap.

Aroma of rich, slightly toffeeish malt with a hop presence so light I hesitate to give it a description.

Taste is clean and refreshing in the ordinary beer sense. That's to say it is a pleasant flavor that leans more toward the caramel/toffee end of the spectrum than to the mild malt category. It reminds me of an old Ford pickup that's still mechanically sound, something you don't think about but is there when you need it.

 

Currently relaxing a bit before going out for dinner later. Decided that it was time for a beer.


Not really enjoying it. It's somewhat cold and that's the best I can say about it. It's boring and bland but it's a beer and I'm thirsty. Cheers!

Omnipollo / Trillium Covered in Puppies. An Imperial IPA. Somehow I wanted to try this. Very nice DIPA, but not exceptional special to me.
