    The Lancet published a story stating that « No alcohol is good for your health » not even the infamous glass of wine paired with dinner - good for them and I’ll drink Defender IPA to that... it’s actually pretty good.

    YO! The kids went back to school which means some of us are out here grinding until christmas vacation. What's that word mean? Home schoolers included. My favorite curriculum in a home school was my neighbor is VA Beach who did one whole semester of "nothing electric." I was the gym teacher. Can you believe that?

    Making pico and doing some lunch today.

    Hazy, light orange gold color, it really does look like orange juice, with small white cap.

    Aroma of piney, citrusy hops that are very fresh and vibrant.

    Taste is hop forward in abundance with very small bitterness. Hops are sharp but have some depth and come across as brightly citrusy with any overripe citrus aspects. Simple flavors but well balanced.

    Light-medium texture with balancing carbonation.

    For a Pale Ale this one has a surprisingly low malt presence, for me at least, but I don't think malt is the point here. Hops are showcased and they do a good job of it while keeping things in balance.

    Happy Friday, BAs! This is my first time trying Cashmere hops. Whoever named them was dead-on...these hops are luxurious.

    Folding Water from Alefarm. Very nice hazy IPA hopped with Ekuanot, Citra and Simcoe.
