Other Half (August 2018)

I'll probably aim to get there a little early, but not out of FOMO. I went to the Friday release before Memorial Day Weekend and sat in traffic for about 5 hours driving back to Suffolk County because I decided to show up an hour or so after they opened. I'd like to do whatever possible to mitigate the chances of repeating that experience.

 

Skip the release? Haha

 

Can’t. Told my boss I’d go pick him up a mixed case haha.

 

I’ll opt for today’s release over Friday’s.

 

Came on here to post same thing. Just too much going on. If this is what a desirable stout is these days then count me out

 

Hop Showers is my all time favorite stout.

 

I, for one, welcome our diabetes-inducing stout overlords. I would like to remind them, that as a trusted BA forum personality, I can be helpful in rounding up others to toil in their underground sugar caves.

 

Fuck I missed a trick there. Going to have to mull that one over while I whittle a piece of driftwood into a bottle opener with the knife pa gave me, while drinking a hop showers

Who else tried Party Booster? Not a fan, second miss in a row for me, after triple cheddar.

I love that we all still find ways to complain about lines, despite their fading into memory. Takes me back to the old days. I'm proud of us.

Just was saying if they do the release from Smith Street like they did on Memorial Day Friday and have 2 registers with 11 different beer options, it could be slow. I wont be there at open (too busy bathing in hop showers) so I don't really care that much. Just figured it was worth mentioning.
