    This beer is a variation of a double bock that I had the other day, with the base beer aged three months in apple brandy barrels of a local distillery.

    Given the barrel aging, the appearance (over carbonation) had me concerned, but other than a pain in the ass to pour and definitely some extra carbonation, there aren’t any other issues.

    There is definitely some apple brandy sweetness to this, which I think nicely complements the base beer, but overall, I’d rather have the original.

    I'm not sure I'm going to finish this one, BAs. The Double Mt Nelson from Cellarmaker is pure fire, where this attempt at Galaxy is nothing short of off-putting. Damnnn. Fahhhk. OK...
