Great sour! Great head retention/lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big tart/sour cranberry, strawberry, hibiscus, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, plum, pear, apricot, red/green apple, red/white wine, hay, straw, floral, and grass; with moderate honey, wheat, biscuit dough malt sweetness; light pepper, lacto/musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness; light hibiscus tang, and yeast spiciness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; creamy/bready wheat, some lactic acid, and light tang/tannins in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing acidic/tangy dryness, no pucker. Very drinkable, not overly lactic, mildly increasing warmth of 8.5%. Really awesome balance of hibiscus and Brett/Lacto complexity; with a great honey and pale/wheat malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering dryness. Very impressive. Feels pretty jammy too, even though there is no fruit at all! 4

Awesome Brett IPA as expected. Nice head retention and foamy lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big lightly tart lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, red/green apple, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, and pine hops/yeast; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread dough malts; hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass; light musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy bitterness; and peppery Brett spiciness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation, medium body, and moderately crisp finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel; light lingering resins/rinds after the finish. Light-moderate increasing bitter/spicy/carbonated dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth and pretty refreshing for 7.4%. All Mosaic hops, so I had a feeling I'd love it. Awesome balance of juicy/dank/earthy hops and Brett complexity; nice bready malt backbone, no residual sweetness. Would get again. 4.1

Big time herbal grapefruit here. The smell is straight up dank onion. This is very good, and at $13 for a 6-pack, you cannot fuck with that. Good job @Sixpoint

With no work tomorrow and after a very hot humid day it's time for a light refreshing beer. In my glass is the UFO White from Harpoon. While not an outstanding Witbier this is both tasty and refreshing enough that I'd be willing to have another. (But I'll probably have Sly Fox Pikeland Pils after this beer is finished.)

Thanks @superspak for Brewdog - Elvis Juice..

What is a grapefruit juice infused beer? If a grapefruit ran into a tangerine, and they ran into a lemon.. would that be correct? I was totally surprised by the results of EJ. It does have a grapefruit aroma and taste, but it is shared with lemon and tangerine, not as bitter as I suspected, and very crisp and malty smooth at the same time. Clean and fresh!

Bootstrap Brewing Sticks Pale Ale out of Niwot CO. The sales clerk at Mister B's in Denver who's from Michigan said it tastes similar to Zombie Dust. I should have brought him a six pack to refresh his memory. It's a crisp clean very drinkable balanced pale ale, but not remotely close to Dust.

Onward to 'Therapist' to go with supper...

Pretty tasty imperial IPA. Looks fine with a deep copper color and sporting a sticky head and leaving rings of lacing. The aroma is rather subdued but the taste is well balanced with an almost roasted malt backbone coupled with a bracing hop bitterness to balance things out. The mouthfeel is heavy and coats the tongue with a soft bit of residual sugar prickliness.

Check out the dead plant I dumped the Mickey's into a few weeks ago. Maybe I'm on to something, @WesMantooth. That plant was dead.
