    “Must stay cold”

    Can poured into Teku glass, hazy yellow , one finger white foam cap, quickly settles to a thin layer of white foam

    Aroma of juicy fruit, mango, citrus, whiff of spicy pepper

    Taste of juicy fruit, lime citrus

    Smooth but I get a bit of the alcohol on the taste, suds up in the mouth

    Good beer

    Thanks @superspak for ROAK - Hopgazer

    Light pine, citrus and mild stone aromas. Mildly carbonated, with the hops muted and washing out the flavors.

    [ I always have problems pulling flavors with the hazy unfiltered (yeasty?) beers ]

    Out of curiosity, what are your primary beer spots in the Springs?

    My five go-to's are Coaltrain (has been my primary source since moving here in 1995), Downtown Fine Spirits and Wine, Weber Street Liquor, Veteran's Liquor, and Total Wine and Liquor.

    @beergoot - same for me, on C'train and Weber Street and DTS, but haven't much ventured beyond. Occasionally I stop by Plaza 21 (more for wine) and Cheers (for beer) but those three are my anchors...

    All around, probably the best beer store around. Perhaps the widest variety of beer styles (especially non-US beers) though perhaps not the biggest selection, but damn close.

    If you find yourself near Circle and I-25 or Academy and Austin Bluffs, Total Wine and Liquor and Veterans have some fine selections, but Coaltrain remains my standby. The lady who works (owns?) Old West Home Brew and Cigar turned me on to Coaltrain when I got here in '95. I've never been disappointed since...
