Some sort of cucumber ale that a coworker gave me from a customer she knows. It's actually extremely delicious. Bright, fresh, and minty cucumber flavors with a nice hint of bready sweetness, and zippy carbonation.

 

It only hit 81 today in Kansas City. Time for barleywine. This is a solid representation. I chuckled as the “best before” date was in May. This is 10.5%. I think it is still building character. I’m past my “best before” date, but trying to make the best of what time there is left. Cheers:

Not quite as milkshake-y as I'd like, at least when it comes to the flavor. It's like a battering ram of bitterness, very dank and herbal and it clings on much like mouthwash after you spit it out. The tropical notes are there but buried under the wave of bitterness. This will please all hopheads I think. 3.97 out of 5
