You are in my hometown (Akron) brewery Thirsty Dog.....nice! You should hit up Hi Ho in Cuyahoga Falls, Akronym downtown, and R. Shea in Merriman Valley - all made great beers and are less than 20 minutes from Thirsty Dog

Thanks, we’ll take that into consideration. Heading to Celeveland for a few days before Grand Rapids but have an eye for a potential day trip back south. No real plans other than Rock ‘n’ Roll HoF.

Stopped at Mudhen Brewpub in Wildwood for lunch and a flight. The food was ok. The beer, not so much

But what do I know, everyone there seemed to like it. Everyone also seemed to like Coldplay though

Picked a barley wine is my go to bed beer. This one from local brewery Amager Bryghus as part of their collaborations series. This one with Pipeworks Brewing. It's surprisingly drinkable. Still have 2 left that I planned on cellaring but it's already really good.

 

swung by 2nd shift on the way home just now, grabbed me some of these goodies. it's turning into a gloomy afternoon outside. some noisy drunken tunes are up next

 

I just saw that message today for the first time. Apparently I’m uploading too many pictures (of beer). Whoda thunk there was such a thing. You gotta figure some users on that site are uploading a hell of a lot more pictures than me. Something’s fishy. Maybe it’s cause I’m not making them public and not contributing to the site? No idea.

After visiting the tombs of the French Kings this morning, Mrs. Z and I met up with @Shanex and had a couple of beers this afternoon:



Pierrick is a great guy (and yes, he was stoic looking in all the photos) and we gabbed on about beer and life like we were old friends who had known one another a long time. He gifted me a couple of bottles of Belgian beer I can’t wait to chill/crack, and the meet up was fun.

I thought my wife, who was using my phone to take photos on Tuesday, had uploaded too many in one afternoon (about 50)...but I now think it’s just the random Imgur screwiness that happens every 6 months or so...

Hello BA. Family flying in from CO for my wedding this weekend. Floods of more friends/family trickling in over the next couple days. Meeting up with the best-man of my wedding @AllHopsMatter and will kick off with a proper stout share. Let the beer games begin!
