Lavery Brewing (Erie, PA) Imperial French Ale - a bit boozier than I recall when I first had it in 2016 but pretty good.

@TheIPAHunter I was listening to some Mass Appeal on my way to work yesterday and this happened to randomly play next. Possibly the hottest lava ever to flow from the mic.

Maybe they'll do a collab with Yale Terrace.

Yeah, Plush Life was $27/4-pack, it is Lush Life with plum purée...

I feel you with their saison, they can be a little pricey for some (Tom’s Hands was $35/bottle), but they are always great and incredibly consistent. My guess is people see the cans going for $18-27/4-pack and tons of hype to trade with and just choose quantity. Maybe some time soon more people will realize they are brewing world class saisons and start buying up more bottles.

Awesome shandy! Great head retention/lacing for the style. Aromas and flavors of big lightly tart lemonade, lime, grapefruit, tangerine, and citrus zest; with moderate wheat, cracker, bready malt balance; and mild herbal hop earthiness. Mild hop bitterness and light tangy fruit/soda tartness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body, and moderately crisp finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts and citrus acidity in the mouthfeel. Moderate increasing tart/tangy fruit dryness. Very flavorful/refreshing, 7%. Always loved the base beer, this is equally as delicious. Great grapefruit/citrus soda vibrancy and balanced pale/wheat malts. Glad they are in cans now. This is a top summer beer this year, along with the Short's shandies.

Awesome NEIPA. Aromas and flavors of big white grape, tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, melon, berry, citrus peel/zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread dough malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Very mild pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness; and grape tang on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; creamy/bready/grainy malts and light sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Touch of resins near the end of the glass. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness. Awesome soft feel for the style. This is likely all Nelson hops, complements the Riesling grape juice perfectly. Very juicy and lightly dank hops/fruit; perfect wheat/oat/malt backbone, with mild residual sweetness. They nail the style pretty much all the time.

Never knew about this EP, thanks Spotify as usual. 2 Cover songs from Rotting Christ and Grave. The only time I've ever heard them singing English instead of Finnish lyrics. Still the typical Moonsorrow sound you'd expect.

At least not after a couple warm up beers. But I'll never tell how I know that. I'm drinking more of your beer. Well, technically it's my beer. But you like it too. Anyway... It's been a long day.

Night #2 of vacation, now at my younger brother's house where his wife has a llama farm. Started with Fiddlehead Rarefied Air, moved on to the Alchemist's
Zomerbier, then Burlington Beer Company/Stowe cider collab Colors That Don't Exist, and now finishing with a dark cherry sour from Lost Nation Brewing to be released in the not-too-distant future. Cheers!!!

The foam these things generate is ridiculous. That said, I can say that I’ve enjoyed everyone. Not getting much watermelon flavor, but I’m a sucker for the style.
