Good morning BA, have a great Saturday.

Awesome NEDIPA. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, green pepper, and pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread dough malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; very creamy/bready/grainy malts, some sticky hops, and light resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing lingering bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Dangerously smooth, not aggressive, mildly increasing warmth of 8.75%. Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe, and Apollo hops. Awesome balanced mix of juicy, dank, and earthy hop complexity; nice wheat/oat/malt balance, not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. Really big fan. Hope we see more from them soon.

2018 edition. Mind blowing amazing as usual. Flavors of huge milk chocolate, caramel, coconut, vanilla, cream, toffee, brown sugar, toasted oak, bourbon, maple, and molasses; with light notes of cocoa, coffee, and raisin/fig yeast fruitiness. Light bourbon/oak spice and roast bitterness on the finish. Fullish bodied; creamy, silky, velvety, and rich mouthfeel. Slight roast malt chalk and oak tannins. Touch of bourbon/oak dryness. Very mildly increasing warmth of 15%, zero barrel booze. Just as insane as I remember every other time I've had it. The barrel integration is absolutely perfect. This time around the bourbon/oak tannins seem to be less prominent; which leads to a much silkier/velvety mouthfeel than some previous batches. Also seems to be stronger on the coconut, but not overwhelming. Glad I have another one. I had the Rum/Scotch versions this year as well.

Fantastic NEIPA. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, light pepper, and pine hops; with moderate wheat, white bread dough malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and body; balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Some resins/rinds and increasing lingering bitter dryness. No hop astringency. Very drinkable, not overly aggressive, 6.75%. A bit more drying that expected for the style; but the hops are super vibrant, juicy, dank, and earthy. Nice bready malt backbone with minimal residual sweetness. Looking forward to trying the other single hop Evolutions eventually. Ellison is definitely a new local favorite since they started distributing last year. Very impressive across all styles.

2016 is tasting incredible. Flavors of huge caramel, brown sugar, toffee, molasses, vanilla, bourbon, toasted oak, coconut, brown bread, raisin, plum, fig, cherry, and date; with lighter notes of chocolate, leather, tobacco, smoke, and herbal hops. Light herbal bitterness and bourbon/oak spiciness against sweetness on the finish. Very creamy/silky/velvety medium-full body mouthfeel. Lightly slick, sticky, chalky, and tannic. Lightly increasing bitter/tannic dryness. Very smooth, minimal warming ABV, no barrel booze. Amazing barrel balance, perfect integration. Really glad this is going year round, but I always love it more with age. Still have plenty of this vintage left.

Clear deeper shade of gold color with white cap and lacing.

Aroma of sharp, herbal hops with a tinge of coffee.

Basically a hop flavor with a substantial malt base. I do not taste the malt so much as sense it. Hops are sharp, bright, herbal, flavorful and not very bitter. The coffee force is not strong in this one, rather more of an afterthought, or, I should say an aftertaste because I notice it primarily in the finish. I think an IPA fan might not catch the coffee at all unless they already knew it was in there.

Full bodied texture with balancing carbonation.

A fairly complex and well put together IPA that delivers on it's promise of hop flavor with low bitterness. I can't say if it would be better without the coffee altogether but I don't think it would be diminished either.
