To the BA'er in the previous month's thread asking about Rice Proxy Treats' subjective value: it is no better than a super sweet barrel aged Evil Twin beer that also bends rationality at $30 a bomber.

If it is indeed stout season, can we get some Short, Dark and Wired, or Oil Slicks?

Regarding the going back in line thing, I was down in Richmond last weekend for the Veils Forever Summer Fest. After the fest, they had around 160 bottles of the limited stout left over that was supposed to be event only. They sold it to the public Sunday and I was pretty surprised to see multiple people go back in line 3 or 4 times, one guy with his girlfriend. Dude must have had more than a case sitting there of a 1pp bottle. Then someone told me bottles were being resold for more than $100 and I understood why.

Simcoe definitely massively exceeded expectations. Never been a huge fan of their Simcoe beers (a Simcoe thing not an OH thing), but loving this one

Speaking of which, Rice Proxy Treats is going for $40, which is dumb.

Thankfully disguises aren’t required to get DDH ACE, this beer is amazing, gotta be a top 5 of all DIPAs.

‘Tis the Oracle you seek young one. They say he is ancient; older than time itself (at the very least he predates the west coast IPA). And he hails from the Isle of Long. I taggeth him now. But his beersight comes with a heavy price - you shall bear a heavy debt in both hops and blood. Be waaaaarned.....

Lol!! Back when most of you guys were knee high to a grass hopper, there did exist a time where you could actually see straight through the beers called IPAs. Beers like Sculpin used to be in big demand and that small Other Half tap room was just a twinkle in the eye of Sam, Matt and Andrew. The boys of haze were drinking Zimas. It’s a whole new world, be careful my young and frisky friends.
