Rice proxy on draft was slightly more rice forward, bottle is HEAVY chocolate, with a nice balanced rice krispy and marshmallow. Really well done, not overly sweet! My vote for stout of the year for OH right behind Almond Orbit and Drupe.

Anyone got any pictures of the Hop Showers shirt? Any idea how much it's going for?

 

Weren't you all overstocked on beer before last weekend and then still went and purchased a bunch of beer? Haha. After the 15 beers or whatever OH dropped last week, I don't know how anyone could be itching for more.

 

What if it’s a new Hop Showers variant though. Like Cashmere + Chest Hair. Will be hard to stay away

 

It’s like the hop showers label, but it says other half. Shirt is black. Not sure on price, either 20 or 25.

 

I'm looking forward to the eventual Hop Showers beard oil, Woodsmen's Cologne, and camping kit that Other Half is going to put out as a result of these jokes.

No, I gave some beers to co-workers and I'm also not moving for another two weeks longer than originally anticipated, so another 4 pack or two won't kill me.

 

Cascade+Galaxy is fascinating, especially for a (largely shitty) homebrewer still figuring out hop varieties.

It's like smelling a Space Diamonds and then tasting a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Pretty interesting combination of classic IPA "spice" and new IPA dankness.

Yea Cascade+Galaxy is a winner for me too. I still use Cascade in a bunch of pale ales so I appreciate it when breweries revisit this classic hop. Its not a dominant hop when paired with the newer hops but this one plays well on the pine/juicy combo of hops.

Pretty sure I bought a case of single hop Cascade when it came out.
