What beer are you drinking now? #2143

Well Indiana is dumb and doesn't sell beer till noon. Well I was sweating balls halfway through cutting the grass at 10am. So made a trip to a place I was told sold "specialty beer":when I was looking for Schlitz a month or two back after seeing that Johny Knoxville movie. I decided to try something different than pbr to see which shitty beer tastes better. About $3-4 each a six pack so why not. Taste exactly the same to me. Found a gas station even cheaper than Indiana prices at $2.55 a gallon and it was a shell so i can actually use the gas rewards points thing for 10 cents off a gallon from the grocery store. Productive day. Time to finish the grass.

Good legs today for the 4.25 mile run so a Mic Light instead of Ultra

Early lunch after a long run. Now I'm just feeling fucking smug.
4Noses Whimsy with some poor man's impression of a Chicago dog with... "guilty on one count" ketchup added. What. I like ketchup. Cuttin' the dog down the middle means I can put more stuff on it, too, without too much roll away effect. #hotdogscience - CHEERS!

Ahh, yes . . .



Deep gold color with white cap.

Aroma of citrus, pine and tropical fruit hops.

Taste has a hop burst up front that tracks the scent. What's surprising is the level of caramel malt riding along underneath. These flavor paths run parallel to the finish which ends on an uplifting hop note.

Examen by Barnstable Brewing right here in Hyannis, Ma. Nice little IPA, citrus with a touch of mango. 6.5abv and 37 ibu’s make it very easy drinking

The quahogs are to die for. I promised Mrs Gee a quahog pie for dinner before I left to clam. Thank goodness I had good luck, I don’t think hotdogs would have been a good substitute.
