What beer are you drinking now? #2145

Up front is a very nice offering from Burial A Violent Voyage to Impermanence a DIPA clocking in at 8% which is really easy drinking lots of nice grape flavor and aroma. Below is what the brewery had to say about this one.

"Made with Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris Grapes. Double Dry-Hopped with Enigma, Citra and Azacca hops."

Thanks @The-Adjunct-Hippie. Delicious IPA. Over carbonated, slow pour. Amazing lasting head retention and thick soapy lacing on the glass. Flavors of big lemon, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, light pepper, and pine hops; with moderate toasted bread, light honey/caramel malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Similar/muted aromas. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation, medium body, and moderately crisp finishing. Balanced creamy/bready/grainy malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Some resin/rinds, light-moderate increasing bitter/carbonated dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth, not overly aggressive, 7%. Great Galena, Cascade, and Nelson Sauvin profile. Very juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy balanced hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, with no residual sweetness. Would love to try it at regular carb. Could not detect much/if any Brett, so it was fine otherwise. 3.91


New Prairie sour. This was fantastic! Great head retention/lacing for the style. Aromas and flavors of big sour/tart/tangy pink guava, passion fruit, fruit skin, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, mango, melon, green apple, white wine, gooseberry, hay, straw, and grass; with moderate wheat, white bread dough, light honeyed malts; light notes of pepper, lacto/leathery/musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness; light fruit tang, herbal/grassy bitterness, and yeast spiciness on the finish. Medium-plus carbonation, medium body, and fairly crisp finishing. Creamy/bready/grainy wheat, some lactic acid, and light fruit tang/tannins in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing acidic/tangy dryness. No pucker. Very smooth and pretty refreshing, 6.3%. Not overly lactic. Outstanding balance of pink guava and Brett/Lacto complexity; great pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity, mild lingering sweetness. Will be getting more. 4.25

Industrial Arts remains on of my favorite breweries

Week 104 is their take on a Brut IPA - and they killed it.

The brilliant clearly of this beers goes pretty damn well with the Industrial Arts new Proper glassware that has laser edging on the bottom, producing a stream of bubbles thats visually pretty cool.

That little touch has made this my favorite Nonic Pint Glass.

@Greywulfken I may have a rival for your Nonic with this one

A Midwestern classic, with piney malts and some bitter caramel on the back end. Updated post with IMGUR post finally loading.

Had a Dermatology appointment today underwent was called a Blue light treatment on my face. I now look like was very careless with industrial chemicals. Moral of the story: Wear sunblock & hats, now if I could just go back to when this song was popular & warm myself...
