Now because I am cranky I am going to have my daily Rye Whiskey. Later folks !

Really digging this one dropped on me by @Dragginballs76 . Boozy, in an awesome way!

 

Finally time to start the 3 day weekend. This one is tasting nice. Still not sure whether I prefer the strawberry or the raspberry version.

 

I just had some Westie XII that was 6 years old, and it was outstanding, IMHO.

And Rochefort 10 is every bit its equal, also IMHO, especially if price is considered.

You did well today, beer nerd extraordinaire.

 

When this is fresh (and it is), it's really good.

The last customers are finally leaving and I've had time to change a keg. Last beer for tonight is an IPA from Danish brewery Ebeltoft Gårdbryggeri. It's on 6.9% ABV but goes down like a crisp session IPA. Refreshing, slightly floral and a tad bit sweet. Think I'm gonna have more than one while cleaning up.

Got this and the cherry version. Both are delicious but this one is clearly superior. It's like drinking jam.
Oh, and Clemson is gonna crush A&M this weekend! Glad football is back! Go Tigers!

 

Haze & Juice NE IPA at Something Brewery in Brighton CO. I will make this my every day IPA if keep brewing it.

 

Transient Softly Spoken Ryes. Didn’t get any OT tonight so I guess it’s time to start my 3 day weekend.

 

My first hoppy beer in a while, I needed a break from Fest beers. Surprisingly I find the hops distracting, maybe it's just the time lag, but I'm finding Pils to be in my wheelhouse. Canned 7/18/18 about as fresh as this gets here soon to be a shelf turd, this canning will still be there 3-4 months from now I'm sure. The only national IPA fresh on the shelf was Jai Alai at about a month old, and I really don't like it. Even Wicked Weed Freak was over 5 months old, Pernicious was fresh.
