I also think people are being a bit silly about Angel City and Arts Distinct. Yes, they are mediocre, but people talk as if they were Simpler Times or something.

 

They will have 100 bottles of Faha available on Saturday at $30 a piece at 3pm. What a fucking joke. These guys are clearly all about the hype.

 

100 bottles? Released in LA, too. Good luck with that shit show. Curious to know how early people will start lining up for it so they can just flip it online.

You missed the part where it's CASH only too..man screw this hype bs game they are playing.

 

While I agree the 100 bottles (and many other issues) with this are hype-stupid, what's the cash-only issue regarding hype?

Too many haze-bros not able to pay $30 in cash? Not able to put it on credit to float it for a month until they can re-sell the bottle/cans?

 

There is also a can release. A rye DH IPA. About 150 allocations, $20 a 4 pack, 2pp, cash only.
I’ve seen 3 chiefs beers on Untappd and their hazy NEIPA’s are almost clear and get pretty poor reviews.

 

Sorry if post wasnt clear. I wasn't complaining on the cash issue, just noting it as beer forgot to mention it. I think it personally now requires these hypeboiz to ask their parents for a month's advance allowance to get one bottle lol

Don't see why they're shooting themselves in their foot for releasing so little.
I mean if you're an up coming brewery, wouldn't you want to produce more bottles to expand your name.

Like some have mentioned above, they’re trying to create hype. I get it - I don’t like it - but I get it. We are living in a time where people want exclusivity and this give them an opportunity to do so.

I am with you though. If I am opening up a brewery, I would want everyone to try it and let there be an organic growth instead of fabricating it through sales tactics.

As much as people crapped on Bottlelogic during the FO release, at least they are attempting to satisfy their fan base and produce beers that are great and keep bringing people back.

 

And also try to make sure there's plenty out there for people to try.

$30 for a beer that spent "a few months" in barrels. Vs the average of a year for most all other BA releases. Seems like a tough sell. Curious how this turns out taste wise. I'm sure it will sellout regardless.
