“ so sorry to interrupt”

Hazy orange liquid , some carbonation, frothy off white two finger foam cap , quickly settles to a scattering of bubbles

Aroma is citrus, orange, lemon, bubble gum, tropical fruits

Taste is citrus hop, bit of lemon, tropical fruit

Low sudsing, gentle hop bite, nicely lingers

Good beer

 

Thanks @The-Adjunct-Hippie. Very good fruit beer. Lasting head retention and thick lacing the whole glass. Aromas and flavors of juicy/lightly tart/tangy blueberries, blackberries, fruit skin, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, and toasted biscuit, and light roasted malts; with some light herbal, floral, grassy hops. A bit muted aromas. Light herbal/floral/grassy bitterness and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; creamy/bready/grainy malts, light sticky hops and fruit tang/acidity in the mouthfeel. Foamy carb finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from carbonation and lingering bitter/tartness. Very flavorful and smooth, 5.5%. Lower carb would have been better, but this was really delicious. Balanced jammy berries, nicely rich malts, and mild earthy hops against sweetness. 3.76


Great hoppy wheat. Great head retention/lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, red apple, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bready malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy bitterness on the finish. Medium-plus carbonation, light-medium body, and moderately crisp/clean finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Some resins/rinds, moderate increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Very flavorful/refreshing, not overly aggressive, 5.5%. Great mosaic hop showcase. Very vibrant, dank, and earthy hop complexity, some fruity yeast; and a solid pale/wheat malt backbone, no residual sweetness. Loved it. Spot on APWA. 4

I was craving this beer all day.

 

Much lighter than the other Okto's I've had this year. Surprisingly malty for such a light colored beer.

 

It does, but the wheat in the finish has an off flavor in the end. Like an unfinished malt. Real grainy

Anderson Valley's Vallejo......This is a very good double IPA.

 

I'll join @jkblr at the Banquet table after a day of goofing off. I did 'mow' the lawn which took five minutes. Using scissors may have stretched it to ten!
