Odd Side Bourbon Barrel Aged The Implication Triple IPA

 

Beer shopping in Boulder yielded a couple of Weldwerks four packs with itsy bits NE pale being one of them. It's quite good with some mild citrus, white grape and floral going on.

 

I keep randomly finding packs of this beer at different stores, but I think I got the last of it, in the area. I look forward to the next batch.

 

It looks like you did well. My favorite bourbon.

Can poured into a teku glass

Golden yellow, slight haze, active carbonation, one finger bubbly white foam head quickly settles to a white ring

Aroma of a champagne yeast, a faint sweetness like an artificial strawberry

Taste explodes in the mouth on the first sip, dry white wine grape taste , wisp of a peppery spiciness

Bone Dry finish, slight sudsing

Nice beer

 

I feel that seems to be the case with most pale lagers for me, especially pilsners.

 

Earlier this evening, stopped by Marley's Brewery in Northern PA for some grub and a flight on the way back to Southeast PA.

Not going to bore you with my beer history but daughter #2 drank the fourth beer of the Wicked Weed Pernicious IPA four pack. She did not finish it. Said dad, do you want the rest. I had three glasses of wine (and four brews) by then. The beer was warm but my dad said it was a sin to waste beer so you know I am going to drink it.

Sad state of affairs.
