I get hypnotized by gifs.

Especially the one's where panda bears roll off their perch while sleeping.

Or the ones where tigers attack their trainers.

Or the nipple slip ones.

 

LOL dry my ass LOL its hot! I grew up in Chicago and am used to the humidity, I think I will take the rain back and shitty weather over this "dry" crap...

First ever Firestone Walker beer, Doublus, pretty exceptional! Was done buying to carry home but grabbed a 4-pak at Biderman's, oh hell yes! Gonna be pushing the 50lb limit tomorrow....2 bags checked free, his & hers....

 

I'm sure it'll turn up in the city soon. It's very new at this point, only canned on 8-31-18.

I had a bottle fresh that I shared with a friend and felt the barrel and hops needed time to mellow and smooth out; giving it 3 years, this beer smoothed out really well, still has those big piney hops Bigfoot always has but really has come into a great balance and smoothness that I loved. Honestly I know store by me that still has some 2015 on the shelf and I think I might buy some more in the next few weeks.

Straight from the can here. Guatavita from Commonwealth, a bit old in the tooth but still pretty tasty. I’ve liked most of this brewery’s beer.

 

Around 111 in the garage at 6:30....in Sep.

 

Funny encounter today at Kettlehead. I was sitting the bar when a couple BAs approached me and asked if I was on BA and it was two guys who I had seen post on a few occasions, sadly I was only able to drink one today, because I would have loved to get into some serious suds with them. Cheers @TheDoctor Jesse and Casey @papposilenus it was nice chatting. May we meet again on a normal Kettlehead visit.

Btw- @cavedave , you need to get some of this one, too! As good as promised, or better. Feels like they started with a Vienna to me, not an O'fest, but beefed it up, and the interplay between the spicy hops and rye is seamless, so tightly knit. It's a beer that at once feels familiar as well as unique. And tasty as hell, too- which is the most important part, after all.
