One of my local Getränkemarkts currently has 2 or 3 cases of these bad boys available for 0.8€ a bottle because they are past the BB date and I'm seriously considering buying them all out and aging a few of them.

All these Oktoberfests are helping me enjoy the IPAs in between. Great stuff!

Beer #2. Definitely not my favorite hazy Revision, but ok overall. I'm somewhat concerned with the amounts of floaties in these guys' latest can releases. Maybe I just wasn't paying as good of attention as now though. Idk.

    Cheers!

Any time I'm going through Iowa and near the Amana colonies, I make a point of visiting Millstream...good beers...

First Oktoberfest of the year. Dare I say this is my least favorite of the collaborations? I dare. But it’s still good.

My wife is working on a glass of Seven Deadly Zins that she’s supposed to be using in the coq au vin dish she’s making for dinner tonight. We’ll see if any wine actually ends up in the food.

An excellent Clapton CD set...one of about 40 box sets I've got laying around the 'Fortress of Solitude' (most of them Mosaic jazz box sets)...

These beers have taken on a slight metallic sour taste trying to pair them down.

A forgotten one, rescued from the crisper drawer in my fridge.

Date on bottom of can: JUN1218.
Moderate pour from 16 oz. can yields a one inch white head over a medium amber, almost bright, and ever so slightly hazy body with some sticky lacing. Nose of tropical fruit with some nice floral attributes as well. Flavors of tropical fruit, citrus, and a bit of pine resin bitterness on the dry finish. Nice feel and overall, a fresher can might be better, but this was a surprisingly good little IPA right here. Cheers to the guys in Jackson, Michigan!

Stepping it up a bit and my Canes starting to show signs of life. Only a couple TreeHouse beers left. Plan my next trip there on a Green, Haze, Julius sale day. I did enjoy this Eureka, Lights on & Hurricane that I scored.....

This is tasting great and all but shouldn’t it come in a 16 oz can with a single artsy sticker label?
