What's your dream mixed 12 pack?

I’m assuming this is an “easy to get “ 12 pack.

Local / Regional 12 pack
3 Focal Banger

A mixed box from Alchemist.

 

style wise:

3 lighter lagers (i don't know them well, educate me)
3 black lagers
3 robust porters or reasonable stouts (you know, south of 8%, may add coffee if desired)
3 balanced IPAs

 

I'm way too picky to buy a sampler/variety/mix pack because I know that most of the beers would be something I don't want, having bought several and never liking one. Even if i could pick styles, I would not want to leave it to someone else to choose what specific beers I'll drink. That said, I would gladly review any of these 24-bottle variety packs if the brewer wants to ship me one;

• BCBS variety pack (variety of BCBS and variants)
  
• Prairie BA Stout variety pack
  
• Toppling Goliath BA Stout variety pack

 

I can dream of one from Victory..

This would be something I would do back flips for.

 

Weyerbacher used to have a Big Beers 12-Pack with a barleywine, a DIPA, a tripel, and a Belgian-ified imperial stout. I think they still sell it minus the DIPA which they discontinued.

 

I can build my own packs of various styles. I would want to sample the effects of hop or barrel variety on the same base beer brewed at the same time back-to-back. So, either of these...

3 x base DIPA with 3 hop varieties
3 x each of single hopped version with each hop from the base DIPA (same malt bill)

3 x base stout
3 x bourbon barrel stout (same base beer for all)
3 x rum barrel stout
3 x brandy barrel stout

 

There was a coffee stout pack like this from Terrapin I think. Same base , all different coffee

Sam Adams did a deconstruction of Latitude 48 a while back, which is where I got the concept. It was a fun night sampling with friends.

 

Von Trapp variety pack? Yes, Jack's Abby has one, why not Von Trapp.
I wish Wormtown would do one with fall beers and of course a Weihenstephaner pack of ales and lagers would be awesome.

They're all perfect or close to it. I can't pick a favorite. It just depends on which style you like or want most.

 

I've already seen some dreamlike variety packs from existing breweries. Victory's 15 pack with Golden Monkey, Sour Monkey, Prima Pils, Hop Devil and Home Grown is just beautiful. Lord Hobo's variety pack is amazing, and Dogfish Head's summer pack with 60 Minute, SeaQuench, Namaste, and Lupu-Luau is also amazing.
