Same brewery different brew . . .




Light yellow color with small white cap and lacing.

Mild aroma of clean grain and touch of floral hops.

Medium level grain flavors with just a wisp of hops. Clean, solid beery taste if a bit simple. Finishes clean and quick.

Medium texture with balancing carbonation.

Very clean, easy drinking traditional American Lager that doesn't have the rough edges of some commercial AALs. Versatile with food and company friendly.

 

Unfortunately it’s a somewhat glowing reference to his response to the Russian invasion of 2014. Other beers in the series, featuring Obama, Merkel and Putin (Huilo) are less complimentary...

When I was a student, years ago, I thought I had a dream job. I was a part-time guard at a museum for fine arts. Had all the time in the world to observe some of the most wonderful paintings in every (in the end boring) detail.
Your job looks even much better Hope some more customers turn up however.

Got a couple, two, tree hours of fishing in this morning.

Got back to the cabin and whipped up a batch of Hatch chile & smoked brisket hash.



Went and fetched some firewood.

Rode 10 miles of mountain bike trails.

Now I'm sitting down for a beer and some Atlas Shrugged.

Calling @connecticutpoet !! Thanks bro! Both of these items (the beer AND the glass) were sent over from this fine trader and I'm enjoying one inside of the other (tried it the other way but it wouldn't work).




A good Zwickel! I let it fall off a bit too long though, but what's left is pretty tasty. 3.86 out of 5 in my book. Night Shift is a nocturnal nemesis!

 

Believe it or not, this gets boring as well. I know I sound like a dick but when you're here almost everyday of the week there's not a big rotation on the kegs. So it's basically just drinking the same 3 or 4 beers you like day in and day out.

Don't get me wrong. It's still the best job I've ever had. But with a bit of luck I can put on 1 or 2 new beers tonight. Fingers crossed.
