What beer are you drinking now? #2153

Ok, knocked out a few chores today, time for a refreshing beverage:


Think the humidity got to my phone's camera lens. Either way, that branch on the left/right of which you see maybe half its full length fell recently onto another branch and is now suspended precariously. Not sure when it fell, but I heard something fall the other day, assumed the cats had knocked something over in the kitchen, though I never found anything. Wonder if it was the falling branch I heard.

I wouldn't have mentioned anything, but people seemed to like the last time I told stories of falling branches. You're welcome.

The Ardent Pilsner still tastes good although its initially light hop profile has faded a little - a nice pilsner malt breadiness and a balancing bitterness is good enough for me.

 

Writing before sending I had heard was the proper way to do them. That vaguely seems like how we once did it. But you know how memories are.

As far as hazy beers go, this one is far from awful but I have had enough to last a lifetime.

A very nice juicy without the haze IPA.

Ok, moved on to the beer that ended up last in a four-way blind competition (by a fair but not huge margin):


A light, mostly malty without being too sweet (though the line can be seen). Maybe a little bit of a citrusy hop profile to go with the toffee/caramel maltiness, medium light carbonation may accentuate the maltiness a little.

 

Knee Deep Breaking Bud (3.91).
