    Been a while since I’ve had a Foreign Objects beer. This is their 4.2% hoppy ale, Future Sight. I’ve never had such a light beer from FO and they’ve done it well. Piney and lemony bitterness with sweeter notes of peach ring candy. Finish is long with dry grapefruit pith. A quality sometimes lacking from such a beer, this ale has a nice malt profile on the finish as well. No hop water here.

    On the hump apex of hump day itself, minor break to read an NSF grant proposal before evening academic events have to be attended to. Blurgh. At least I have some Ursula Via Chicago pale ale to break this heat. 90? Ugh.
