Getting freaky here tonight, Decadent Ales French Toast, a DIPA with Maple Syrup & Cinnamon. I predict this style will surplant the hazy IPA within the next 3 days

Poured from 16 oz. can which states an abv of 6.0% with 60 ibus.
Moderate pour yields a huge white head over a hazy straw yellow body with nice sticky lacing. Wonderful nose of tropical fruit, citrus, and slight pine; with some floral attributes as well. Taste mirrors nose with tropical fruit and sweet citrus finishing nice and dry with a slight bitterness. Very nice feel with near perfect carbonation and overall, a joy to drink this beauty from Hinesburg, VT. Cheers!

At the Yob/Acid King show. Starting off with my first Founders Breakfast Stout of the season.

 

One of today's releases at Magnify. Grand Illusion, an 8% milkshake with lots of coconut but not too sweet. Good stuff!

 

Great call by Sierra Nevada taking this one year round and in a can.
Sierra Nevada Hop Bullet Double IPA

 

New Prairie sour. Fantastic! Aromas and flavors of big sour/tart/tangy pink guava, passion fruit, fruit skin, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, mango, melon, green apple, white wine, gooseberry, hay, straw, and grass; with moderate wheat, white bread dough, light honeyed malts; light notes of pepper, lacto/leathery/musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness; light fruit tang, herbal/grassy bitterness, and yeast spiciness on the finish. Medium-plus carbonation, medium body, and fairly crisp finishing. Creamy/bready/grainy wheat, some lactic acid, and light fruit tang/tannins in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing acidic/tangy dryness. No pucker. Very smooth and pretty refreshing, 6.3%. Not overly lactic. Outstanding balance of pink guava and Brett/Lacto complexity; great pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity, mild lingering sweetness. Worth getting a 2nd pack.


Awesome NEIPA. Aromas and flavors of big white grape, tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, melon, berry, citrus peel/zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread dough malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Very mild pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness; and grape tang on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; creamy/bready/grainy malts and light sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Touch of resins near the end of the glass. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness. Awesome soft feel for the style. This is likely all Nelson hops, complements the Riesling grape juice perfectly. Very juicy and lightly dank hops/fruit; perfect wheat/oat/malt backbone, with mild residual sweetness. They nail the style pretty much all the time.
