Fantastic as always. Aromas and flavors of big juicy mango, peach, apricot, pineapple, orange, grapefruit, lemon, passion fruit, citrus peel/rind, pepper, and pine hops; with moderate honey, toasted biscuit, and light caramel malt sweetness; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied. Sticky/resinous hops, with balancing creamy/bready malts in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing resin dryness, no hop astringency. Mildly increasing warmth of 9.1%. Dangerously smooth. Such a delicious DIPA. I love Chillwave more, but this is still always amazing. The main difference is Simcoe hops here, vs Mosaic in Chillwave. This is basically imperial Commodore Perry, minus Cascade hops. We seem to get it late every single year, past best by dating last week. Will still be amazing for a few more months.


Excellent fruited imperial stout! Aromas and flavors of big dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, toasted dark bread, lightly tart/tangy blueberries, cream, and vanilla; with lighter notes of fruit skin, nuttiness, molasses, smoke, char, dark fruit, licorice, and herbal/grassy hops. Light roast/char and herbal/grassy hop bitterness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and full body; with an awesome creamy, silky, velvety, and rich mouthfeel from the lactose. Light chalky roast, sticky hops, berry tang, and dryness. No acrid/astringent roast or hop flavors. Minimal warming 11.2%, amazingly smooth. Very rich and well rounded imperial stout malt complexity; with solid authentic blueberry fruit presence, and balancing earthy bitter hops. Not huge on fruit, but definitely adequate. Lets the stout be the main style showcase, instead of feeling like a fruit beer. Spot on imperial cream stout.
