    Grolsch Spicy Tripel. I think this is the first special brew I've had from this brewery from the east of Holland. Not a huge fan of the Grosch taste, but this tripel is not bad at all.
    As a kid I lived in the Grosch region for some years in the '70's. I still remember the construction workers at that time having these bottles with lager with their lunch. Those were the days :slight_smile:

    Enjoying a nifty little pilsner at Cerberus Brewing Company in Colorado Springs...



    ...a decent pilsner, but really, those Colorado lamb sliders were the real highlight...

    Pretty much true. I’m sure reading this thread for years now that we are just as much food connoisseurs as beer connoisseurs. And we enjoy both equally - me at least.

    This rye beer has a really odd flavour profile. Very fruity and without much of that typical, spicy note. Then again, even though they call it a "Roggenbier", when you look at the ingredients it's actually brewed with rye, barley, spelt and wheat...

    Finally dusted off my faithful old Xbox after I got a Nintendo for Christmas. Celebrating the reunion with a nice dark beer.

    Full Danish Breakfast from Fanø Bryghus. 5.5% ABV oatmeal stout. It's nothing fancy but it's dark and delicious and surprisingly carbonated. The days are finally getting shorter and colder over here and I've been missing stouts so it's just what this day needed. Cheers everyone!

    A really tasty Beer - Guinness West Indies Porter:



    Light roast, toffee, bitter sweet dark chocolate, some sweetness; almost creamy feel with a dry finish. Tasty dry roasted malt linger. Will get more from the local grocery store.

    In honor of drinking Quebec beers all week long, I'm making a tourtière. That, and I just got a pig for the chest freezer from the farm down the road and I'm starting to panic about what will happen if the power goes out for more than a day.
