Having had the beer in question, whatever Shaun did adding these strawberries to this beer, it was a true work of art. Magical, even.

It might not have taken 8 years, but whatever happened produced the best milkshake IPA Chicago has produced, in my opinion.

I thought the same thing when I read the description. I think I'd lean toward, "...with mosaic hops, blended with strawberries and vanilla". I agree with you - aged to me means an extended period of time to let the flavors develop in some certain way. I highly doubt the strawberries or vanilla are added long before canning/sales.

In the end, we are nerds discussing mostly meaningless linguistics. But something about it still rubs me the wrong way.

Sounds like a great topic for discussion in a more (not MoRE) general thread.

I don't know about the verbage but the beer itself is drinking fantastic.

My impression would be that those flavors were added after primary fermentation maybe? I've seen others say "conditioned on", "fermented on", "with", "blended with", and other terms that might not always convey more than that additives were involved.

Is there a reason why Justin not being in the post makes you happy? I didn't know if I was missing some reason to not like Justin. (Just let me know and I'll get my pitchfork out to holler and scream against Justin)

I thought it might be a joke about the two former Ram brewers having a rivalry

maybe this is all an elaborate story line building up to Shaun vs Justin in a steel cage match to end the feud.

We are post-Labor Day so a nice test to see if Frooted will just sell out in 90 minutes in perpetuity

Can't say that I'm a big fan of this Frooted. It's pretty dull. But that's just the nature of Boysenberries I guess.
