    Northern Lights as far south as Wisconsin? I was thinking of taking a road trip ever since I filled up my tank of gas completely for the first time in forever

    At a local brewery with the Mrs and enjoying a nice single hip pale ale featuring Mandarina Bavaria. Pretty tasty, and the pizza isn’t bad either!

    Mikkeller Breakfast Kløb

    Bold coffee flavor with creamy sweetness finishing with roast and some bitterness. A very nice stout.



    I had Saturday detention in high school only once. My parents were not mad at me for what I did. They were just disappointed.

    Beer #3. One of the best PA-only IPA cans. Also under $5, which is getting quite rare here. Even the shitty upstarts are breaching $20/4.

    Actually found this to be kinda similar to Two Hearted, but with a stronger West Coast character. With additional light tropical notes and stronger bitterness, this slightly wins out for me at the same age.

    Icarus Waikikamukau (Why-Kick-A-Moo-Cow). NEDIPA with New Zealand hops. Canned 3 days ago. Not my favorite from them but very good. 4.17/5.

    I am kinda getting used to paying $17 or $18 for a four pack but I get squeamish when it approaches $20. Not that I have not done it.

    The fact you are forced to sample 5-6 month old versions of my favorite ipas is making me sad. 2-hearted is so good under 3-months! Ditto Jai Alai.

    I wish I could find any 4-packs for $17-$18. Tired Hands has blown up our local pricing. Very little under $20. The last TH DIPA was $27, so yeah...

    I am certainly guilty of downplaying and ignoring Sam Adams/Boston Beer Co. However, this beer is a great example of this style. I wish I first had it in a blind taste, wonder what my response would be.
