I'm having one tonight. It has held up just fine. The apple Brandy has smoothed out a bit which makes it better or worse depending on your feeling about how strong it comes through.

It's almost as if a barrel aged beer like that should be consumed fresh.

 

Mine unfortunately were very much soured

 

Had an apple brandy last night mine wasn’t bad. Still have two bottles left, hoping for the best.

Curious if anyone is there with an update. I wasn't able to make it (1 weeks notice was just too limited for work), but curious how turnout is. Was thinking there might be 100 people in line by now.

 

What time was the release at? hopefully its a fun time for all. I think i most excited about the apple brandy oil, too bad it has such low limits tho

I got there about 830. There were about 350 in line. Seems like most people arrived between 730 and 830. Waiting in the line I had a half pour of Port Appervation. Phenomenal. Great event overall today by Brad and the crew.

 

So this stuff reminds me of Purple Wolf and Curtain Call, but a lot more refined in the can. I can see this being a multiple purchase IPA for the next few weeks.

 

I'm guessing the new pasteurizer is up and running and it's nice that the first adjunct beer of the year from the barrel program is also possibly my favorite.
