Still feeling the Bell's tapping from last night, wherein I had the great idea to sample up the line to Two Hearted, and then stupidly chose the 30 foot diving platform of a Cumbre Full Nelson DIPA. Twice. Ouch but delicious.... Gonna be a slow day. With work... Cheers!

After all the doom and gloom regarding this hurricane, I felt for everyone in the Carolinas (we were supposed to go to Asheville this weekend [to visit Fonta Flora, Wicked Weed, Burial, Sierra Nevada and Oskar Blues [have to get my TenFidy! ], oh well maybe next weekend!) Good to hear that it wasn't as bad as what they predicted.

 

Revisiting one of my favorite Dogfish Head beers, it didn’t dissapoint!

My wife is out for a few hours and my kids are at my parents. So lucky to have the house to myself, you say? There’s a catch. I have a looong honey do list today. My wife thought I’d be less distracted with everyone out of the house. She was right, but before I get cracking on the IKEA crib, I’m joining you all with this new offfering from Kane.

The guava is prominent in this Galaxy, oat, lactose, Golden Promise IPA. It’s an easy drinking beer compared to many of this style. It’s creamy without being heavy and it’s light on the palate. The finish is nicely dry and bitter, with tropical fruit and grassy notes of Galaxy hops, guava, lemon rind, a bready malt backbone.



About dial up some Marcus King to 11.

Classic IKEA furniture / relationship humor

 

It's a beautiful morning at the South Jersey Shore. I plan to stow away the deck furniture in case we get some residual wind from Florence, then do some shopping for the upcoming NBS BIF, and then some reading on the beach. Cheers, everyone!
