Was in BK so stopped at OH, inspired by this thread.

Wow - like 10 canned beers to choose from, zero line. Amazing...I hope it's always like this! Best beer I had was Double Nelson - cans were sold out but tried it on draft and took a growler home.

Tasting room was a madhouse but took like 2 seconds to get a beer. Overall a great experience - I'll be making the trip up again soon I believe.

So what changed in the last year? I feel like it was only a few months ago when people would wait starting at dawn for like 3 cans...now I can just roll in and out with 10 in minutes.

    RIP Line Lyfe!

    I second this question!

Seems dying line lyfe is a phenomenon at a lot of the straight-to-consumer haze/tose factories. I’m not 100% sure. Probably a combo of production being upped to meet demand, plus NEIPA hitting saturation point

It's been my experience that whenever I've made it to a Hudson Valley or other release, it's a lot of the same people. I think there's too much for everybody to keep buying all of. Plus locally, KCBC is dropping 2-3 cans a week, Interboro is dropping 3 cans every week, Grimm is dropping 2-3 cans a week, Finback is dropping 2-4 cans a week, SingleCut is dropping 2 cans a week, and Other Half seems to be dropping 6 to 7 cans a week. LIC seems to be slightly picking up the can pace. Outside the city EQ is dropping 2 cans a week, HV drops cans. Magnify cans, etc.. Regardless of what one might argue about the quality of their beer, Tree House is still a destination visit and offers as many as 7-9 different beers at times during the week. Wrench is available all day every day. Plus we continue to get more and more interesting distribution.

There's just so much haze bro

Other Half could resuscitate line life with decreased supply.

I think a blended sour brett NEIPA would do the trick

Or a quintuple fruited gose that has a 50/50 chance of detonating on you on the way home.

    No.

That being said, their IPA collabs have been quite infrequent, seems like they were releasing one or two almost every weekend 12 months ago. Those always brought lines. We are seeing more stout collbas, but those are often going midweek, which is another reason why the weekend line has dissipated.

Anyone with the keg email? Curious if there will be a mid-week release. #staytunedformore

Nada so far. Definitely feeling scared and confused getting the insta post before the keg email

Have they run out of kegs? Are all beers being sent upstate? Is OH going out of business? Or worst of all - are they going to start brewing pilsners?

Weren't we supposed to get DDH Forever Simcoe last week? I guess they're sitting in the same corner of the warehouse as those cans of Crickets.

It's always nice to see another dual hop can.

I ran a few miles to the brewery on Sunday (nice way to stay motivated while running and burning off some of the beer calories) and tried this. Wasn't too fond of it TBH. I haven't been a big fan of OH sour IPAs.

There are still a fair amount of can options left from the previous week, and only so much cold storage OH can support. Guessing they are waiting to clear out some of the current inventory before adding more mid-weeks.

Now that Other Half has killed off lines (a la Trillium) I can finally plan a visit! Can't fucking wait, and this is after just getting a bunch of shit from Suarez over the weekend and there was like 2 people there. I love the future!!

Tired Hands is still on the shit list though. Maybe someday they'll get their act together but I think they hold stock in lawnchair manufacturers, so I'm not holding my breath.

I was at Tired Hands about a month ago on a milkshake release day at around 7 or 8PM. Walking to the back, grabbing cans, dropping them off at the car, and grabbing a table for dinner at the Fermentaria took all of 5 minutes.

Perfect timing, synced up perfectly again with Sixpoint release ! We might go for the triple crown again Saturday, OH to Sixpoint and Grimm on way home !

I stopped by the taproom about an hour ago and someone was wrapping up a pallet of bottles, so it looks like we might see a bottle release this week. Anyone know what it might be?
