Heading to the hot tub, not much more I can do here now but drink beer. Lagunitas Super Cluster. Pretty sure this ain't my last. Not going to work I am fairly sure

 

An excellent session IPA as always. #7 features Idaho 7 hops. I like Idaho 7, but it's hard to describe. Grapefruity, weedy, spicy, piney, and a bit mango-y. Like a cross between Columbus and Citra. It's good.

 

So how is the hot water heater going to work w no matter - call me baffled !

 

Pipeworks Velocity of Light. Dry hopped Oat IPA. These guys don't make boring beers, that's for sure.

Haven't dosed off on the couch yet, so grabbing another from one of the seven 4 packs of Chicago area beers I picked up today. Yes, I may have a problem, but at least my problem helps the local economy.

Heard this on the way home tonight. I know a lot of people think the Gorillaz is the shit, but Blur was one of the most underrated bands of the 90s. And this video is pretty cool.

Wish I had pics but I'm just totally hammered on homebrew. Got three IPA's I'm smashing side by side (all 7% +), trying to decide which hops combinations I like best and which malt bills I'm keeping. Cheers

Yesterday was my one year anniversary back at work after a couple years off being a stay at home dad. I miss the time with my kids and I miss days at the virtual bar, but at least I have done well enough so far to get promoted to night shift supervisor, and I still have the privilege of being around here for closing time. Salud, Fokkers.
