Grabbing a taste here ba. Mad Fat 2nd anniversary, dipa, from Interboro. Crazy good hop juice,

 

digging into my second bottle of Very Best Bad Things from Bare Bottle. Loving the beer and really enjoy that the brewery prints a 5 gal. recipe on the bottle for all of their beers. I am suspecting that I will be looking forward to more and more Moteuka hopped ales as I've seen it pop up in a couple IPAs I've tried recently.



Love the quote that inspires the name 'California can and does furnish the best bad things available in America'. Hard to argue with.

Surprised at the complete absence of love that these guys get on these boards but I suppose that's the fickle nature of modern beer nerdery

No work today, short shift tommorow, then long weekend kicked off by Ozzy Osbourne concert. It's a travesty there is no good public transportation in the suburbs because this is where I want to go prior to the show. It's like a sign from god or something not that i believe in that.


Anyone want to play a round or pick me up there Friday night if going to the show? Loser still get's zombie dust.

Fruit•Wood•Time - Montmorency & Balaton Cherry

Ruby red, no head head at all, vinegar, Cherry and oak on the nose. Great tart sour cherry taste, some vinegar, a little of the oak on the finish, very light and bright. Excellent beer from Westbrook!

Back in town after my trip to Lambeau field for the Viking vs Packer game this past weekend. Met @GreenBayBA out side the stadium prior to the game. He graciously shared some beer with me and gave me this one and another to bring back. Thanks much Micah.
