    Working on firewood and enjoying a Melvin Pale Ale.

    I noticed the cats were chasing something in the meadow, so I had to check it out.

    A little bull snake halfway through shedding. I had him, but the cats wanted him.

    Let him go out in the meadow to grow and catch mice.

    Oh I've seen it. There is a liquor store a mile down the road that sells Half Acre stuff. Guess I've never been too tempted to pick up that particular pale ale when they have zombie dust and daisy cutter next to it. So many Pale Ales so little time.

    I’m off work today, I think I popped something in my knee at the gym this morning, put a damper on my yard work. Oh well, it won’t stop me from enjoying a Revelry Kook-asaurus Kolsch...salud!!!

    Some crisp refreshment on this hot afternoon . . .

    Light yellow color with white cap and lacing.

    Aroma of mild sweet malt and floral hops. Not very heavy on the hops.

    Taste good in a clean, refreshing way. Mild malt/grain presents upfront with enough flavor that you know you're drinking a beer albeit one in the lighter style. Hop presence is equally mild with a touch more spice than floral. Finish is quick and clean.

    Light texture with balancing carbonation. A touch more carbonation than necessary.

    A Summer refresher of the lighter style. Slightly fizzy, lightly refreshing, suitable for food or poolside relaxing.

    Having a little Friday treat tonight. A heavy, delicious stout.

    From Amundsen Bryggeri, 11.5% ABV. Lots of coffee and dark chocolate, well carbonated. Not getting a lot of marshmallow but though it's not as sweet as expected it's still a great beer. Hope you all have a great weekend.
