Fantastic NEIPA. Aromas and flavors of huge ruby red grapefruit, tangerine, orange juice, pineapple, lemon, peach, pear, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, citrus peel/zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate wheat, biscuit dough, light honeyed malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; creamy/bready malts and some sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Slight resins. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Great soft feel for the style. Very drinkable for 7%. Great Galaxy, El Dorado, and Topaz hop showcase. Super juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank hops; nice malt backbone, not overly sweet/heavy. They always do an awesome job on the style.

Still tasting amazing. Aromas and flavors of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, nutty dark roasted coffee, caramel, maple syrup, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, bourbon, toasted oak, and dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of coconut, molasses, and smoke. A little muted on aromas. Light roast bitterness and bourbon/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and full body; with a fantastic smooth, creamy, silky, velvety, and rich mouthfeel. Slight chalky roast, oak tannins, and dryness. Minimal warming 11.7%, zero barrel booze. Perfectly balanced between barrel, malt, and chocolate/coffee flavors. This has some noticeable differences from KBS, but I don't prefer one over the other. Less coconut from barrels, added sappy maple syrup flavors, and maybe a bit more bourbon/oak tannin dryness. Was my last bomber, but will be back in a couple months again.

Cold (56), windy and raining this afternoon...my first Westy 8:

An excellent Dubbel to shake off the dreary morning. Sweet figgy pudding nose. Caramel malt, sweet fig jam, lite bitter earthy hops.

I may walk down to the local pub for a growler of IPA to bring home, if the rain breaks; otherwise, it looks like a stay at home kinda day. Cheers from Winchester UK!

It has been a travesty that I have not been able to try this beer until now. I have been a huge fan of 3 Floyds and Pig Destroyer, for many years. My reaction to this beer is exactly what I expected it would be, and I imagine it was the same for any long-term Pig Destroyer fan. "No, no, no. This is beautiful. This is art."

Omnipollo Zodiak Multiverse NEDIPA. This is fantastic. Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, orange juice, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate wheat, biscuit dough, light honeyed malt sweetness; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Very mild pine, zesty, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; very creamy/silky/bready/grainy malts and light sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness. No hop astringency. Amazingly smooth/soft finish, minimal warming 8%. Assuming this is just imperial Zodiak. Simcoe, Citra, Centennial hops. Insanely juicy and lightly dank/earthy hop complexity; perfect wheat/oat/malt backbone, not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. Stellar stuff for the style, already got another 4 pack last weekend. Should revisit the base beer again.

This is tasting amazing. Flavors of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, caramel, vanilla, cream, toffee, molasses, bourbon, coconut, toasted oak, and dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of coffee, licorice, raisin, plum, fig, and dates. Very mild roast/char bitterness and bourbon/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and very full body; with a very creamy, silky, velvety, and rich mouthfeel that is amazing. Slight chalky roast, oak tannins, and dryness. No acrid/astringent roast flavors. Insanely smooth, minimal warming 11.2%, zero barrel booze. Bell's has the BBA game on point as usual. While I still prefer well aged Expedition and the BBA version more, this is still definitely better than I remember when I reviewed it initially. Richer and silkier mouthfeel. Perfect barrel integration and complexity. Still have plenty left, was so easy to find last year. Also got some warehouse back stock a week or two ago.

    It's Saturday and I gotta start somewhere . . .

Clear, bright medium gold color with very good white cap and lacing.

Aroma of sweet malt with bright, citrusy hops.

Taste appears as a burst of clean hops with a zing of citrus more like zest or rind rather than the citrus fruit itself. Several flavor sensations going on at once, the most prominent of which appears grapefruit to me. Malt is present like the core of a cable which while not visible is apparently there. Finish is clean with a lingering yet tasty bitterness.

Medium full texture with balancing carbonation.

As good a Pale Ale as I've come across in awhile and that's not for lack of looking.

Forecast is 100% rain every hour until midnight, so why tairy? At the bar now with a “Mosaic Milkshake “ by Tiny Rebel Brewing:

Milk and peaches nose. Bitter fruit, lactose, semi sweet malt base, bitter citrus/weedy/garlic finish. Full fluffy feel, but not juicy with a thin body - only 4.2% ABV...a session milkshake? Tasty nonetheless!
