I am a huge fan of Allagash, and my most favorite beer of all time was Allagash Tripel Ale, but somehow I can't find it anymore. All I got was Allagash Saison and Allagash White. Does anyone know of a beer shop that carries Tripel (it's not discontinued, right?)

I'm new to the forum and am not sure if this is the right place to be asking stuff like this.

I'm still relatively new to the beer world, can you guys recommend me some beer?

One's I've enjoyed were - St. Bernard Tripel Ale, Allagash Tripel Ale, Lagunitas Sumpin' Ale, Victory Double Wolf IPA, Weienstephaner hefe weissbier dunkel + original, Edelweiss snowfresh, Slaapmutske tripel nightcap, Paulaner hefe weissbier, Tucher Helles Hefe, etc.

I think I really like Tripel Ales and Hefeweizen in general. Is there new brewery I should try out (preferably ones that are easy to find in boston area, ex. blanchards) ?

    Thanks!

Narrow down the geography a bit - what town are you in?

Good news! Untapped shows it at Dion's in Waltham, at Lulu's in Allston, at the Sacco's Flatbread in Davis, and various other places.

I’ve regularly seen Allagash Tripel at wegmans, and they tend to have the Belgian staples as well. If you haven’t tried Unibroue offerings they also make a nice Tripel / golden ale.

Wegmans might have everything you listed, Just check the date on IPAs like dirt wolf. Anything over 2 months you might want to look for something fresher.

@DeerBeerFearDear - a location would indeed be useful, but it looks like Boston area so kinda surprised you can't find the Allagash Tripel. Yankee Spirits usually has the Tripel, so I would assume that the larger stores around you should be able to get some. Yankee - at least last weekend - had the Allagash Saison, @SunDevilBeer , but that'd be a bit of a ride for either of you. Surprising - these two don't seem hard to find - perhaps a bit spotty on when they show up, though.

Curieux - even if you don't like bourbon it's a gotta have in my opinion, and I don't say that about too many beers. My wife dislikes bourbon and whisk(e)y in general, but she does love her some Curieux. Always have at least one bottle and now that it comes in 12x4, even easier to stock up. Depending on how much you want to spend, you can pick your way thru whatever Allagash offers and be a happy beer drinker for a long while. Some you do have to watch the freshness - L'il Brett and Huge Malone come to mind. Some others age gracefully.

You might want to try some Jack's Abby lagers and Springdale Barrel Room sours (Brigadeiro and Pearly WIt aren't half bad either) for some easy to find "higher end" offerings, and if you haven't visited either place (same building, different side) I can highly recommend either. Jack's ABby serves food, but you can order appetizers and pizzas from JA at Springdale.

    Happy hunting.

@DeerBeerFearDear definitely try the 4 packs of curieux if you find it, tripel on steroids. But if you like that kind of beer you will probably enjoy an ommegang event on tomorrow at Meadhall. A La chouffe promotion from 6pm to 8ish. if yopu like tripels my guess is you will enjoy this

4-packs of Allagash Tripel and Saison are sold at Target on Boylston St in Boston, near Fenway Park. The price is $10.99 plus deposit.

I was at The Beer Store up in Amherst, NH and they had Allagash Saison. Not too far away.
