Is the current list of the top 100 on BA. Since my "ticking" is on Untapped these days, and BA is for serious reviews, I only have 26 of the top 100. In reality, I've had many, if not most, of the rest of the list. I'm in the process of catching up.

In a total non-surprise, Fremont has 8 of the top 10 spots. I never got around to reviewing that Bartells beer, although I had several. How the rest of y'alls doing with that list?

Well at least Bodhizafa is in the top 50. Hmph.

That Top 10 is pretty damn gorgeous.

Two of the 3 reviews make it pretty clear they're not confusing it with GN Double Stack, but I'm curious about the other 10. Maybe it's really good beer, but part of me wants the #36 WA beer to be misidentified ratings for an OR beer.

Interesting to still see some Walking Man beers in the top 100 list, even after all this time. When I first came to Portland back in 04, Walking Man was generally considered the best brewery in Washington. There were no Fremont, Reuben's or Holy Mountain breweries back then, and outside of Pike's and Red Hook, I don't recall seeing a lot of options when it came to Washington beer. They were very highly regarded in the PDX area, and I recall attending an event at the Horse Brass back in 05 or 06 that was hugely popular and very well attended (still have my "join the evolution" T-shirt).

Still a fun spot to stop by on the way back from Hood River, but it's really amazing how they've pretty much completely dropped off the Washington Craft beer map since those days.

I get the impression reviewing beer is not terribly popular in Washington.

At least on this site it seems. Folks do seem to love their IG, FB, UT, and Reddit though.

Aye, even though untapped is immensely easier than reviews on the fly are here, I still rarely write anything unless it's as a note for others and possibly myself if I re-buy the beers in the future.

That's time I could be drinking!

In the same vein as Bodhi, I noticed that I had never reviewed Bottom Cutter, even though I'm the one that added it to the site. I just corrected that. Now back to the list to see what else I've not reviewed!

Nice to see one non-dark boozy bomb in the top ten.

Yeah, their stuff was awesome back then. I still have fond memories of that Dark Cherry Stout, and their hoppy stuff was top-notch.

Oh, looking at the Double Stack reviews, only two of them were made since Great Notion opened, and one of them clearly notes that they're not talking about GN.

Also, Astral Projection is number 13 with 6 reviews and 45 total ratings. I'm guessing if it were from another part of the country it would have more reviews and probably be much higher nationally, but out here we just don't care.

another notable difference from the rest of the country: Astral Projection is not a set recipe of hops. other breweries make the same recipe IPA with different variations of hops and label it with 30 different hip hop references beer names and folks rate them all like crazy because #hype

love how three fates slipped in at #94, only lager on the whole list :joy:

Continuing on with my task of reviewing beers that I've had, but not reviewed from this list, I'm just finishing a Crikey.
