Since you wont be able to get in without a ticket, I'm guessing No it's not worth going.

So, Rare V3.0 should be going into Barrels right about now, eh?

I hear the bottle share for those that didn't get a ticket and stand outside longingly peeking inside is equal parts epic and sad. @Jinx989 Crusher of Dreams.

I wish I could have attended solely to witness this.

For all wondering, that's a week and a half before T-day (the sunday before the sunday before thanksgiving).

Edit: Lottery opens in 4 days.

$70 for the 3 bottles total. About what I would've expected, and I'm sure all those complaining about $60 4 packs of BA beers will make their way over here.

I'll do my usual sign-up every day during lottery submission period, and then check my inbox and junk mail folder for days after Oct 9 and Oct 11 winner notifications periods until it finally sinks in that I missed out yet again. Struck out all 3 previous years they've done this.

Probably saving a little money over Black Friday, as they'll probably be $24-26 plus tax each at retailers. I believe that price included sales tax last year, but I could be wrong.

Kinda bummed that it's going to be a plastic snifter. But I understand why they made the change. More bummed I'll be if I don't get tickets lol.

Handing people a glass snifter full of Prop was classy, would rather they keep that and just put a GI branded neck lanyard on the base.

I'm one for three. Last year both my fiancé and I won, but we sent her tickets back into the lottery instead of selling for max profits. Hopefully that's enough karma for one of us to win again.

would be really sweet to win and go. being able to taste the BCBS line up and then give zero fucks about black friday would great.

So, you dudes just need to TASTE each BCBS and then....that's it? Holy fuck. If that's all it took....there'd be a lot more bottles on the shelf. Just put BCBS in a spray bottle go to people's houses spray a little in their mouths, let them check into it on Untappd and BOOM! no more shortages.

I've opted for the tasting only approach since it became necessary to wait in lines for it. That's just something I don't believe in doing. I've still had essentially every BCBS that's been bottled.

I like to taste them so I can decide whether it's worth the trouble to actually chase bottles. Being able to sleep in on Black Friday with a free conscience would be great.

i get being a sarcastic twat is your bit so i'll explain. i don't want/need a basement full of bottles aging. i'm interested in trying chicago breweries offerings but don't want to participate in the lines/crowds (and I choose not to). so when an opportunity like prop day comes along i am indeed interested. if i win a ticket..great. if i don't...well then good for the winners.
