New to me beer - Ciney Brune; a Belgian Dubbel.

This is good. I wasn’t expecting it to be better than Westmalle or Wesvleteren but it’s a fine warmer on a cooling fall evening.

My opinion on a beer should not be considered "bashing" kind sir. It is only little ol me's opinion. Both beers ive had by them were overly sweet and had zero balance. It was like drinking mango cocktail juice with a lingering bitter end. Just wasn't my style. Sorry if I hurt you in any way. Cheers

Interesting! I definitely going to try this one when I see it. Probably have to wait till my next visit to Belgium. Good to know this is around.
    Cheers!

Vigorous pour yields an 1/8 inch off white, very light pink, head with no lacing over a dark mahogany body. Heads dissipates down to a ring in a couple minutes. Nose of dark fruit, red wine tannins, and oak. Wonderful! Taste mirrors nose with an assertive acidity that keeps you coming back for more. Good feel and overall, a fine example of the style. Cheers!

Beer = Lager most of the time around here. I'm traveling in the opposite direction by ferry next Friday. On the ferry there are some more options when it comes to beer. But only between different lagers, and a stout ofcourse
    Cheers!

Having a Duvel while making diner (halve of it by now). Lasting foamy head is good, keeps the oxygen out of the beer once it is poured.
    Cheers!

    Another from Norway's HaandBryggeriet.
Always consistent and always better than good!
Imported by Shelton Bros., so it shouldn't be too hard to find, and find you should!

Today's review from an 11.2 oz bottle with 10.2 % abv.
    10/1/18:

Moderate pour yields a beautiful, creamy tan head over a near black body with exquisite lacing. Nose of bitter chocolate, espresso, and dark roasted malt with some dark fruit as well. Taste mirrors nose with a bit of milk chocolate coming through, also. Finish is bitter chocolate and hops. Very nice mouthfeel and overall, as good as I remember. Cheers!
