What are your thoughts on this one? I had it a month or so back and wasn't the biggest fan of it. Others have seemed to like it, so I am curious how your experience compares.

Earlier met several BAs, shared several bottles, and did an impromptu inperson trade at Cantillon...some highlights from this afternoon’s meet ups:

First time with this classic. Great stuff.

Floral, grassy, hoppy and drinks so easy.

 

Starting with one from Stone.

 

I'll do my part with a Fulton Bohemian style Pilsner . . .




Nice clear golden color with white cap and lacing.

Aroma of bready malt and sharp, herbal hops.

Taste of fresh bread and edgy, herbal hops. It's a good flavor, malt is substantial enough and the hops give a spicy bite like a rosemary herbed loaf. Very clean, refreshing and certainly a step above ordinary.

Medium texture with balancing carbonation.

Overall a good impression. Not as malty or as bitingly hoppy as say, a Czech style Pils but much more Pils like than a lot of others that bear than name on the label.

 

Funky Buddha Floridian @ Hooters....

 

Perennial Wet Hop NEIPA. 6.5 came out last week on draft at the source. Pours a very hazy dark orange yellow with a solid finger head, that leaves spotty lace. 4

Smell is apricot, mango, pineapple, and some grapefruit rind. 4

Taste follows but bigger and more aggressive. Apricot and grapefruit stand out and it is really nice, with hints of tangerine. 4.25

Mouthfeel is a big medium, plenty of life, but slightly soft, goes down very easy at 6.5%. 4.25

Overall another winner from these young brewers, open less than a year. 4.25

 

Head Nod And Finger Guns Brute IPA 6.5%. Not my normal jam, but actually pretty tasty.
