    Nah, video games never really grabbed me. But reading all the posts here makes me wonder .... doesn't anyone play cards anymore ?

    Football Manager is made for drinking and gaming. That is until bad decision making ruins a long unbeaten streak. I have been playing a lot of World of Warships lately. It is like a FPS but paced for geezers like me.

    I personally love single player rpg style games and could not get into the Witcher 3, idk if I went in too hyped but did not grab me at all. Fallout 4 however ate my soul along with Diablo 3 that I somehow bought across 3 platforms but I digress

    I used to play COD, I would get a good buzz which lead to good killstreaks, then when i started dying and losing I would turn into an angry drunk and scream "How the fuck did he kill me?!?" or "I unloaded my entire magazine in that guy and he didn't die?!?!?!?"

    It's hard to play cards when you're by yourself at 2am every night. Plus the reality is that I'm not a very social animal. I'd rather escape into virtual worlds.

    Anybody play Old School Runescape?

    I've been grinding blast furnace a lot lately. I've found it isn't too bad if I have some fresh hops in my glass and some Netflix on the other computer screen.

    When I'm playing video games, I'm in my own world, relaxing, away from others. My job can be demanding with lots of team work and negotiation, so it's nice to plug in the headphones, pour a glass of beer, and then get lost in a fantasy world for a bit.

    Whenever I'm DMing for my weekly game of Dungeons and Dragons, I have a giant mug for my beer. This allows me to not have to get up in the middle of stuff nearly as often, but also has the effect of me allowing things to slide into 'Rule of Cool' territory more often as the night goes on.

    • Resident Evil 6
    All rotating. Always got my beer nearby. Last night it was Lagunitas High Westified and a bowl of chili.
