Unsurprisingly my target is located to the West, in a city I have never been but to a province I have.

Looks like you have had quite a number of beers of all styles which could be daunting, but it does not appear that you have had much from East of New Brunswick. Which hopefully means a box stocked to capacity with new to you stuff! Ill make sure to throw in some beer that pairs well with Italian and Mexican food as it looks like you have quite a number of spots close-by. And if you're lucky the weather will be nice and unseasonably warm (like today apparently..) so you can walk off all that beer and pasta in one of the parks nearby.

 

My first two small boxes have been shipped, with much more to come next week!

Looking forward to seeing some photos soon, as I would imagine a lot of boxes were shipped out today.

To those who haven't shipped yet. Free Shipping Tuesday was a breeze to register for and navigate. I typed in legitimate measurements and was still given a $0.00 charge - with the exception of paying $3.84 for at home pickup (yea, I simply lifted and placed the 12 bottle shipper on my front porch when I left for work in the morning, and noticed it was missing when I returned home, with an accompanying email).

 

This will be my first year using the free shipping Tuesday, but it sounds to me like you should only be charged for the additional weight, so still a discount. Time will tell, I guess. From the Canada Post free shipping Q&A:

Q. Is there a weight restriction on my parcel size?
Yes. Free shipments have a limit of an actual or volumetric weight of five kilograms. Shipments that exceed this maximum weight may be charged for the extra weight.

Q. Why am I seeing a charge on my credit card account?
If your parcel weighs more than 5 kg, or the volumetric weight equivalent of the package causes it to be rated at more than 5 kg, you are charged for the additional weight. You are also charged if you add any options, such as extra liability coverage or signature, to the shipment.

oh man, I am super late posting here. Looking forward to participating in this and trying some cool beers. My target is west of me, but not that far west. Hopefully they're looking forward to some east coast brews. On the off chance that this information is still in any way useful, I'm a big fan of just about anything, style wise, leaning towards the massive, barrel aged, or funky options. Really I'd rather try something weird and potentially terrible vs something more straight down the middle.

Glad both made it to you safely! I was a little nervous when the second one appeared stuck at the sorting facility an extra day.

 

Received my first package from Electros! Two stouts and a grisette. Will take photos when more arrives, but for now I have to run some errands before Stillwell's Niche Brewing tap takeover.

I've sorted the bottles I bought and pulled a couple of cellar beers, and things look good to go! Will be shipping this Tuesday to a province I've briefly visited, but never drank in.
