don't the facts say that the ticket entitles you to the option to purchase the bottles?

Went last year...ticket price gets you in the event & gets you your draft pours.

You ain't walking out of there with two Props & a vanilla for that price. Trust me.

 

Please read the FAQ then and decipher it for me.

 

I thought most beer people were cool, but apparently not. This story and the story of a guy getting to be a plus one, but has to give up the bottles, is just bad news. Now in this case if the winner said, "I can't commit on going, you pay for the tickets if you want and I'll pay you back if I go," then that's cool. If it was more that he expected you to buy the ticket as a thank you for him winning, then that's BS. Karma is a bitch!

 

Total dick move not to let friend get allocation with the ticket. Kharma will get him. I won this a few years ago and had no problem giving a friend the other ticket and all that came with it. This year he is returning the favor.

 

You are paying more for the bottles. I'm not deciphering for you, I'm telling you.

This isn't a dick measuring contest, I just want you to be aware of what's going to happen.

 

I input my name on both purchased tickets....input guest info within the guest fields upon purchasing. As you said no guest info is on the actual ticket. So I have two tickets, both with my name as lottery winner. I'm sure goose has the guest info from the universe page they will be referencing. Just strange guest info doesn't appear on actual ticket.

 

Geez guy. Never said it was. Just reading what I’m seeing. Like you said ‘too dumb to be confused by the system’.

 

Just bring money if you want the bottles. I don't want you to "geez guy" at the checkout line.

Haha oh crap yeah I think he was always going to go if I paid but the risk of not winning plus him not having a guest put me on the radar..he did say though if he can't make it he would pay me the $30 back.

I guess what I am trying to ask is - "last year they allowed the Guest to enter without the main ticket winter as the Guest had a separate ticket. I don't see this this year in the "Q&A" and wanted to see if people know if that policy has changed to "Main Ticket Holder must be available for guest to enter"...which puts me in deep trouble

Not that I have a horse in this race anymore, but I think he had it right. Per the FAQ, each ticket holder (winner + guest) gets the option to pay $70 for 2 Prop and 1vanilla. Over the cost of the $30 ticket.

 

So that makes it $100 total. If that's what my man @ShawnoftheD3ad was arguing, I acquiesce. I thought he was saying $70 total was getting you pours and beers.

 

Mystery beers went from about 1pm on or so. They were pretty discreet at first and then it became a zoo. It was so hectic that some didn’t give a token at all but it varied on the trip through the line

 

You guys really need to read the fine print. Btw, I got some contracts I need some signatures on...

 

11/12 is a holiday, so this being on 11/11 really is ideal. I’m just hoping to not get so hammered to lose my bottles! Considering I’ve managed at DLD the past 3 years with all bottles intact, I am confident in my abilities.
